‘Sustainable Hornsby 2040’ is Hornsby Council’s draft strategy for an innovative and environmentally sustainable Shire with resilient, diverse and thriving communities and ecosystems. This draft strategy is now on exhibition until 30 October 2020.

As part of the exhibition process for ‘Sustainable Hornsby 2040’, Council will be hosting a public webinar to assist the community in writing submissions.

This webinar will give participants an overview of ‘Sustainable Hornsby 2040’, and how Council incorporated extensive feedback provided from the community into the document. The webinar will include presentations on key elements of the strategy, including biodiversity conservation, urban forests, water and climate change. The presentations will be followed by an opportunity for participants to ask questions they might have about the draft strategy.
